Connie Kong Partner Connie Kong is a partner at C&C and she serves as head of the Gaming and Real Estate, Construction & Tourism departments. Ms Kong has extensive experience in handling gaming related, real estate and construction issues for the corporate sector. She has been involved in a gaming license application and several real estate deals in Macau, as well as in hotel and entertainment licensing for the tourism industry. She has advised on regulatory and compliance matters for licensing agreements and has significant experience in supervising the legal issues for ongoing major construction projects in the hotel, retail and high-end property sectors. Her practice includes liaising with the gaming control board of Macau, drafting real estate contracts, submitting deeds of registration and other statutory documentation to the Land Registry Office and providing legal opinions on contractor and subcontractor agreements, as well as on employment matters for construction projects. After spending 5 years in Portugal studying to get her legal qualifications and working as a paralegal at the law firm Rui Cunha Advogados in Lisbon and as a news correspondent for the Macau radio and television broadcasting network, she joined C&C as an associate. She was elected partner in 2007. Presently, Ms Kong is involved in counseling in a wide range of matters which are closely tied to the gaming industry of Macau.
