| Maria Joao Marques Associate Maria Joao Marques is an associate in the firm's litigation and dispute resolution department. Her practice focuses on dispute resolution, civil and criminal litigation, family law and labour and employment issues. She started her career as a legal adviser in 1992 for the Ombudsman's Office of the Lisbon Holy House of Mercy, where she acted as legal counsel and advised on human resources, labour and employment matters. During the next four years, she oversaw the management of two hospitals and the Department of Human Resources, worked closely on the organizational restructuring of the Institution, and, as a result, acquired a vast experience in administrative and human resource management.In 1996, Ms Marques was a founding partner of a law firm based in Porto, Portugal's second major city, where she practiced in several legal areas until 2007. She joined C&C in 2007. |
