Mr Rodrigues has acquired a breadth of experience in representing local and foreign clients in litigation matters at different levels of Macau Courts, dealing with civil as well as criminal cases, and defending high-profile figures in corruption cases. He has also advised and concluded deals for clients in the fields of real estate and construction, and has been involved in insolvency and bankruptcy procedures. In 2000, he was elected partner and has since then been supervising and managing the firm's litigation cases.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked for the Macau Government as a civil servant, initially at the Land Registry Office and later at the Finance Services Bureau, which equipped him with an inside perspective of the government's operation and procedures. He was admitted as a civil law notary in 2000.

He taught International Public Law and Labour & Welfare Law as Assistant Professor in the University of Macau Law School. He has been a voting member of the Board of Directors of the Macau Bar Association since 2000.

He is also a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
