Nuno Sardinha da Mata Partner Nuno Sardinha da Mata is a partner in the firm's corporate department. Mr Sardinha da Mata is in charge of supervising all corporate related matters. He has extensive experience in corporate law, tax, banking and project finance issues. He also maintains a particular focus on the real estate, construction, tourism, and gaming sectors.. Mr Sardinha da Mata has over 20 years experience in advising domestic and foreign clients on Macau law. His broad practice includes business and corporate legal advice for single owned or major corporations, real estate deals and legal services for tourism and casino projects, among others. He participated in both the Civil Code of Macau and the Code of Land Registry of Macau projects as a member of the Drafting Commission workgroup, in representation of the Macau Bar Association. He started his legal practice in a Portuguese law firm based in Lisbon. In 1989, Mr Sardinha da Mata relocated to Macau to work in the Macau Economic Services, where he provided legal advice on a wide range of issues to the Board of Directors. He was one of the initial partners at C&C in 1996. Before the handover in 1999, he returned to Portugal where he started his own law firm in Madeira. In 2007, he returned to the firm he helped build. Mr. Sardinha da Mata is member of APAA (Asian Patent Attorneys Association).
