Vasco Gouveia Vidal
Associate

Vasco Gouveia Vidal is an associate at C&C. He is one of the main contacts for the administrative law and he also works extensively in the banking, finance and corporate sectors and with insurance and public law matters. Mr Gouveia Vidal's practice also focuses on labour, real estate, construction, and civil issues.

He has a wide range of experience in advising domestic and foreign corporations and companies on a wide variety of matters within the banking and finance, and corporate sectors, insurance, tax as well as in providing legal advice on regulatory and compliance issues regarding licensing agreements between public and/or corporate entities. He also maintains a particular focus on the legal aspects of the gaming and tourism industries.

In 1997, he started his practice in the Portuguese law firm Mario Gaioso & Associados in Aveiro. Later, he moved to the Lisbon based Entreposto Servicos Juridicos law firm, before working for the Consumer Defense Association.

Between 1999 and 2007, he advised and represented a government department in labour and employment issues, while running his own law office in Lisbon.

He is also a member of APAA (Asian Patent Attorneys Association).
