Dr. Rui Cunha, Founding Partner of C&C Lawyers and Notaries, delivered the opening speech at the 15th International Law Conference organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau.
This year’s conference, focusing on “Legal Reforms of Macao in the Global Context,” brought together leading scholars and practitioners from Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions to discuss developments in the Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure, and other key areas of Macao’s legal system.
Dr. Cunha’s remarks emphasised the importance of comparative legal analysis and the exchange of international perspectives to support ongoing reforms. He also co-moderated a panel session, contributing to discussions on the practical implications of legal updates within Macau and abroad.
