We do not sell, distribute or make your information commercially available in any way, to any third party outside of the C&C Group of companies (Who We Are), except in fulfilment of the legal obligations or in cases where such communication becomes necessary for the provision of our services.
C&C Lawyers may contract external service providers, acting as subcontractors, to send you our newsletters. For that purpose, we follow rigorous criteria in the selection of service providers in order to comply with the data protection obligations and execute a data processing agreement, which includes, among others, the following obligations: apply appropriate technical and organizational measures; process personal data for the purposes agreed upon; respond exclusively to our documented instructions; and erase or return personal data to C&C after such services are completed.
For data subjects located in the EU, the legal ground for the transfer of your personal data to a processor located in a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) is that the processor is a certified entity under the Privacy Shield Framework. In practice, this means that our processor is considered a safe recipient of personal data by offering an adequate level of protection, as determined by the European Commission.
